Github
Github provides the distributed version control of Git, plus access control, bug tracking, software feature requests, task management. We use Github to organize projects and data files and to make our science open access.
Coding
We mainly use python/R/bash in this lab. There are many free resources available online, UW-Madison library also provides python/R workshop series.The missing lecture from MIT is also really helpful in learning shell script and text editors.
